Mourinho, if he was not lying about wanting Arse to win so that Chelsea would be more motivated to win at Bolton, would be pleased, as were many Chelsea fans who wanted to win the title in a more active fashion, but I doubt that the extra chore of having to avoid defeat on Saturday would be beneficial to the players' concentration for Wednesday's crunch match against the jealous scousers.
